Get to Know the Founder.
The word "inspire" beautifully captures the essence of Marilyn Myers, PhD, and her extraordinary journey.
For two decades, she has gracefully embraced the roles of a devoted wife, a mother to six children in heaven, along with three adopted children, two bonus children, three grandchildren, and several godchildren. She has served as a friend, mentor, and confidant to countless women in Florida and Maryland.
With twenty-three years of experience in education, much of her career dedicated to dropout prevention and juvenile justice, she currently holds the position of Human Resources Manager for a Fortune 500 company. She also writes and teaches workshops for her company employee led group for women.
Her vision for Her Table was born from her personal experience of navigating two worlds that often clash due to misunderstanding. She values the beauty in our differences while cherishing the common threads that unite us. Her passion for foster care is palpable, and her heart lies in mission work in South Africa.
Her life’s aspirations focus not on personal accolades, but on the lasting legacy she aims to create by inspiring others to realize their potential and celebrate the unique gifts granted to them by God.
